Our Brands

The Caldera

It was the company's first brand. Both the company and the brand were created in 1988. Since then, the brand's design has evolved according to current trends without ever leaving aside the origin of the product.

Can Tià

Sebastià Simó was the founder of the brand in 1980. From the beginning, it was dedicated exclusively to making black pork sobrassada, recovering the native breed that was at that time in danger of extinction. In 2011, it was acquired by Embotits Sa Caldera SL with the prospect of expanding the offer and with the spirit of maintaining and improving the original recipe of Can Tià.

Can Balaguer

In 1959 Joan Sureda founded the Can Balaguer brand in his facilities located in the town of Artà, in the east of Mallorca. In 2011 Embotits Sa Caldera SL had the opportunity to add this brand to its family. Since then it has been one of the company's sister brands.

Our Homemade Recipe

The HOMEMADE recipe gets its name from the highest quality of the raw materials that make it up. We make it from pigs raised and fattened in Mallorca, such as the black pig (native breed) and the cross-bred pig (cross between black and Duroc or Large White pigs). One of the main characteristics is that it HAS NO PRESERVATIVES and the antioxidants are of NATURAL origin.

Our Traditional Recipe

The TRADITIONAL recipe is made from the highest quality meat and pork, with natural antioxidants, no preservatives and quality black pepper. All of this gives it an intense and well-defined flavor and a honeyed texture.

Our Classic Recipe

We call this recipe CLASSIC because we wanted to maintain the formula that the company used in its early days. The main characteristic of CLASSIC is that it has a finer shell. This gives it a smoother texture and taste.
